Examples

When I team with teachers and educators who know curriculum really well, the combined knowledge and expertise creates magical experiences for learners of all ages.  Starting with the curricular content goals, we work together to infuse technology tools throughout the learning.  These are a few examples of tools that are used to facilitate learning.

Snap Words Coding

Using Scratch, students can use any spelling or vocabulary words and learn how to animate them.  This introduces Scratch to students and reinforces spelling words.  Students can save their work and share it  with families via Seesaw.

Code-a-pillar

The Code-a-pillar provides unlimited options for screenless technology integration.  Students learn coding concepts and vocabulary while programming the Code-a-pillar to build words, math problems, find letter sounds, and more!

Timelines

Most students create a timeline at some point in their educational life, and there are great resources to make these timelines interactive and engaging.  It’s simple to add multimedia elements like videos, imagery, and text that create crisp and professional timelines.

Graphic Design

Elements of Graphic Design build from year to year.  Student presentation skills are explored, working up to a level of  sophistication that enhance projects and presentations. Students learn to design  logos, stickers, and more using a variety of engaging tools.

Digital Citizenship can be introduced in early grades, and works best when teachers integrate the skills of being a Positive Digital Citizen into their curriculum.  Working together, I help teachers find ways to infuse these concepts throughout their school year.
